Jamie and Atta Addo are both reggae musicians in two different bands and are getting married very soon (8/10/21) at Della Terra right at the edge of Rocky Mountain National Park. Our engagement session was more of a run through for the upcoming big day. The first test for the day was Jamie getting her hair and make-up done before our shoot. The hair stylist thought it would take an hour and with all of Jamie’s gorgeous hair it took over two! So the couple arrived over an hour late for our engagement session which pushed our schedule into the night.

We started near Della Terra, just inside the park and went to one of my favorite spots with the mountains behind us. Unfortunately it was overrun with mosquitoes and after Jamie got a few vicious bites we left for the waterfall. We got some very playful shots there and then just before sunset on a very moody, rainy and smoky day we headed up to the top of the mountain. When we got there the sun had left and we did some impromptu night shots. We also got to play with smoke behind them and experiment just so they could put on the other outfit they had bought.

It was super fun to hang out with both of them and I cannot wait for their wedding in less than two weeks!
