Lookout Mountain Engagement Photos
Snow shoots can be a blast! People tend to wait for the Spring and Fall colors to take their portraits but as long as you have some warm clothing, winter shoots can come out stunning! Karli and Luke were good with all kinds of ideas and we had an incredibly fun day of shooting their engagement photographs. We started with some classic shots of them with the mountains in the background, and then added some fun props into the shoot, an “&” sign and some signs they had made to make fun of how long it took Luke to ask the adorable Karli to marry him. The snowball fight got them loosened up and then, with the incredible scenery of Colorado, we added by some Holi powder that I brought along so they could have a “color fight” with it at the end of the shoot. This is such a fun way to play and get photographs of that have a little something extra. Let me know if you are interested in adding this to a portrait shoot as I have boxes of the stuff.
Their wedding was moved from this June because of COVID, but it will happen this September at the gorgeous Sapphire Point in Dillon. I cannot wait to photograph this couple’s wedding! I know it will be fun.
