Running Creek Manor Wedding Photos

To be in love is the greatest treasure that two can have… and Meredith and Chad are very rich in love. Just being around the two of them gave me hope for the future. I first met these two at their complimentary couple shoot in April. They chose their location for portraits to be Denver Botanical Gardens at Chatfield Farms in South Denver. They were just adorable to be around and also were a blast to photograph. We moved around the gardens and talked about how they had met and their plans for the future, by the time we had parted ways I couldn’t wait for their wedding! Love was in the air.

Their wedding theme was “country chic” and the venue was a perfect fit. The wedding venue is a bit of a sleeper, but worth checking out, it’s called Running Creek Manor. Chad (the groom) had grown up going to this estate regularly, it’s the childhood home of his friend, who was also a groomsman. When the children left home his parents turned it into a wedding venue, and it is a beautiful one!

The day started out pretty windy while Meredith was getting ready and then a quick spat of rain left us and the wind with it. Their first look was adorable, they were like kids on Christmas waiting to see each other all dolled up (they both clean up pretty good). Chad created the arch they got married under, chopping down the aspens and then hand-building their one of a kind altar. The dance party at the end of the night was one of the most energetic I’ve seen, including some intricate hip-hop moves by the FOB (father of the bride). The night ended with a sparkler exit straight to their car and away…
