Did I pay this moose to give me a legitimate subject to be photographing right next to where a surprise proposal was about to take place?
She was a great distraction while Will moved into place to ask Grace to marry him!
LOVE this couple, the beautiful rain that came down made the photos, temperature and natural love of the moment even stronger.
Make sure to book a pro for your proposal photos!

I cater my family photo sessions to each family. Every family is totally different and I want to capture who you really are. The Feldmans have two young boys and they could not hold still, so we embraced that and got photos that will last for lifetimes. Don`t delay getting your family photos, their childhoods go by SO quickly! Fall dates available...

Brandi & Michael`s wedding is wrapped up!
I`m making them a gorgeous wedding album next, and then they will have a 1st anniversary shoot next year.
Brandi got my Quaking Aspen package, on the day of the wedding they had 2 photographers, 2 videographers and an assistant. I also photographed their rehearsal dinner, engagement, anniversary, made a slideshow for their reception... they got it all!
I love pulling out all the stops for my clients, it`s my nature and the core of my business, delivering the highest level of customer-service and photography.
Brandi left me a fantastic review! Read along as you look at just a few of the MANY photos that were delivered...

What is it about getting outside that stops all the noise? Lately life has been WAY too much for me to deal with and my trips out to nature for camping and hiking have been a reset and a rejuvenation. When you kind find the solution, get outside!

The Kloepfer Family came from Ohio on a Rocky Mountain National Park vacation. Mom didn`t tell anyone that they were doing a photo shoot until that day and the kids were not happy about it in the beginning!
They found out that photo shoots with me aren`t stiff, boring posing, but a time to see new places in the park, have some fun and most of all make memories that they will have for lifetimes!

This is a wedding that I will never forget!
Bink & Tyler got married in June @blackcanyoninn
Their entrance to an instrumental string version of "Pink Pony Club" brought everyone there to a full singing rendition and dance to start the ceremony off..
The reading of Justice Kennedy`s Opinion after the decision of Obergefell v. Hodges during the ceremony left not a dry eye...
We spent two hours with the couple in @rockynps at the beginning of the day, a place that they are as passionate about as I am.
Their theme was "Scottish Highlands in the Rocky Mountains"
Their outfits were custom-made by @lochcarron_of_scotland
The planner/florist @sonorahouseevents made gorgeous floral arrangements that elevated the iconic Homestead at Black Canyon Inn
The DJ/MC Michael with @psdj (Pure Sounds Productions) is one of my favorite DJs to work with
@lamomomaes made a beautiful geode cake
After a delicious dinner by @greenspointcatering

They had 200 guests, the maximum that @wildbasinlodge holds and every person there was full of love for this couple!
@lamomomaes 6-tier cake
@bestdayfloral orchid & Hawaiian Heart flower arrangements... everything was elegant and elevated!

All photographers are "natural light" photographers, it`s just that some (like me) have worked years on their lighting skills for when natural light isn`t enough. Weddings span on average 8 hours and the lighting and locations change all day. Don`t mess around with your wedding photos! Hire a full-time pro who can handle everything your wedding day throws their way. #coloradoweddingphotographer #gretchentroopweddingphoto #estesparkweddingphotographer #boulderweddingphotographer
